Rafi Ismail aka The Desi Barber. Born and raised in Houston,TX. Now living in and serving Friendswood,TX. Specializing in all different haircuts ranging from a bald fade to a classic men’s haircut with scissors/shears. Blending creative, modern and classic styles of haircutting. Who else would you trust with your beard if not a someone with a beard and who will sculpt your beard. Beard trims with razor finishes are the best.

First generation American. What is Desi? The word Desi refers to South Asian people from the Pakistani, Indian, and Bengali communities.

Before barbering, My experience was in sales, customer service and management. I became a barber to pursue purpose. After getting laid off from my tech sector job I dove fully into barbering taking classes to enhance my skill and knowledge of barbering.

I love being able to work with people and build relationships with the person in my chair. For a me a haircut is more than a haircut I’ll custom tailor a haircut for your needs and lifestyle.
